This report is a continuation of the monitoring, research work. and reporting of the situation of Environmental Human Rights Defenders carried out by ELSAM since the end of 2017. Usually conducted annually, this particular report encompasses a shorter time period in order to provide information about development trends and suggestions related to the situation of Environmental Human Rights Defenders in Indonesia. This report continues to use the same preparation methodology as the previous reports, namely by conducting searches for news and publications related to Environmental Human Rights Defenders using 16 keywords relevant to cases of violence and threats against Environmental Human Rights Defenders.
